It is very important for the health of your dog to have them groomed avoiding painful and potentially harmful matting, this especially important for the health of Wool, Silky and Drop-coat breeds.

BATH AND TIDY
Bath and tidy's are very popular for between Full-Grooms, when your pup needs tidying but not quite a full haircut!

PUPPY INTRO
It is important to desensitise a puppy before starting their first haircuts. This can be done from the moment they have their second vaccinations and are allowed outside!

TEETH CLEANING
Keeping your dog's teeth clean is important, as ignoring it can lead to plaque build-up and dental problems. Dental disease is very common in dogs, second only to ear infections, and can be extremely uncomfortable - much as it would be for us.
To avoid expensive treatment costs, check and clean your dog's teeth as part of their regular grooming routine.
At Smart Pooches we use the Emmi-Pet ultrasonic Toothbrush, this does not vibrate or make any noise, making it much more comfortable for your pooch!
